Training

Formazione sull'uso delle piattaforme aereeFor Nacanco, the safety of the machines and their correct use in a variety of ap-plications, is a priority that includes two different aspects. The first refers to the intrinsic safety of all machines in Nacanco’s fleet, which is guaranteed by regular and punctual maintenance as well as the progressive re-placement of the machines, allowing the company to limit technical issues to the minimum and always provide operators with equipment in perfect conditions.

The second and not least important aspect refers to training, which covers every-thing to do with the operators’ safety. When meeting customers, Nacanco misses no opportunity to promote individual protection devices, and also organises technical training and professional-updating courses. The choice and correct use of the equipment are essential to eliminate or reduce work injuries.

To this end, Nacanco supports Employers by offering training sessions in combination with hiring services, to provide the necessary level of expertise for oper-ators to use the aerial lifting machines in total safety. The courses, held by a pool of experts in accident prevention, provide specific theoretical and practical training on machine safety; at the end of the course, participants are issued all the necessary documentation required by the inspecting authorities. The courses comply with current regulations in terms of health and safety at work (Legislative Decree 81/2008 and subsequent modifications and integrations).

The new Agreement between Government and Regions, valid since March 2013, (published in No. 47 of the Ordinary Supplement to the Official Gazette of the Italian Republic, No. 60 of 12 March 2012), known as the "Equipment Decree", sets the rules on training workers involved in dangerous activities, such as elevating work platforms (EWP), industrial lifting vehicles with driver (forklifts and telescopic static or rotating base lifts), mobile cranes, tower cranes, heavy equipment (excavators, diggers, etc.).
