Training and safety
With its extensive experience gained over many years of business in Italy, and always sensitive to the topic of safety, Nacanco offers a wide range of training courses intended to support employees in choosing the most suitable course to comply with the regulations in force and prepare operators by educating them about working safely. Assessing training courses is specific to each work requirement since the possibility of eliminating or reducing accidents and injuries depends on adequate training on how to use the work equipment correctly.
To this end, in addition to its rental services, Nacanco offers training aimed at providing the knowledge needed to use lifting equipment safely. The courses are provided by a pool of accident prevention experts and offer theoretical and practical training aimed at using equipment safely. At the end of the course, specific documentation is issued to be shown to inspection bodies. The courses comply with the requirements of the current legislation on health and safety at work (Italian Legislative Decree 81/2008 and amendments and additions).
Training on offer
The new State-Region Agreement, in force since March 2013 (published in the Ordinary Supplement no. 47 of Official Journal no. 60 of 12 March 2012), named "Equipment Decree", governs specific training for operators that use so-called hazardous work equipment, including aerial work platforms (AWP), self-propelled industrial trucks with the driver on board (forklifts, fixed and rotating telehandlers), mobile cranes, tower cranes, earth moving machines (excavators, backhoes, loaders, etc.), ...
The courses can be held at our sites subject to availability or, on request, in your facility at your preferred date and time.
Since 2013, we offer courses on safely using equipment such as mobile aerial work platforms (AWP), forklift trucks, mobile cranes, and cranes on trucks, as well as safety courses for working at height, bridge cranes and mobile scaffolding.
We also offer general and specific training courses for workers, and safety, first aid and fire-fighting officers.
We are also an IPAF training centre for those who need to use aerial platforms outside Italy, and issue the PAL licence which is recognised worldwide.
The courses are provided by authorised personnel and can be held at our sites, subject to availability.
Being an aerial platform operator with IAPF training is not just a way of raising awareness of the need to work safely, but it is also a form of recognition.
We also provide an e-learning service, which lets workers follow the theory lessons of the course directly from home or at work, just by connecting on-line with a computer.
The practical session, however, requires use of the equipment to which the training applies, so it must be done at one of our sites or another suitable facility.
Once the course has been completed successfully, we will issue specific documentation to be shown to inspection bodies.
